Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions for our clients.

Q: I have left belongings on the bus. What should I do?

A: You should contact us as soon as possible at this number 015-8488411 and give the operator all relevant details: The bus route, the direction, the time and the details of the lost object.


Q: I would like to buy a season ticket, where should I go?

A: The purchase of a season ticket (weekly, monthly, annual or annual for students) requires an ATAP card with ID. These may be purchased from an authorised ATAP agent (agents indicated with the letters AE). A passport photo and a completed application form are required.
Please remember that it is only possible to buy season tickets for a pre-selected route indicated on the ID card.
Tickets may also be purchased from an authorised ATAP agent (agents indicated with the following letters: “E” for suburban routes, “B” for routes in the city of Biella and “V” for the city of Vercelli. Tickets may also be purchased on board ATAP routes and are subject to a surcharge.


Q: Where do I pay the fine I received?

A: When a fine is issued, the offender will receive a copy of the penalty notice which indicates the penalty amount due. If the offender is a minor, the penalty notice must be sent to a parent or guardian, otherwise the penalty notice must be signed immediately by the offender.
Attention! if the penalty is not paid within 60 days, then it must be paid in full and will not be subject to any reduction.
The fine must be paid at the ATAP offices in Biella or Vercelli or by money order made payable to ATAP SpA Viale Macallé 40 Biella, stating payment for the penalty number indicated at the bottom of the penalty notice and the name of the offender.
Fines may not be paid by postal order.


Q: Can I travel with a dog?

A: Dogs may travel with passengers only if there is place available.
Dogs, irrespective of their size, pay the normal tariff and must not in any way cause disturbance to other passengers. They must be held or kept on a leash or muzzled as appropriate. Any damaged caused by the animal must be paid by the accompanying passenger.
Guide dogs are always allowed on board and are exempt from ticket payment.


Q: Can I bring baggage or a bicycle aboard?

A: Each passenger is entitled to travel with baggage (max dimensions: 50x30x25cm) with no extra cost. It should be stowed so as not to cause discomfort to other passengers. Larger baggage require a successive ticket. 
All baggage must be accompanied by a passenger.
Bicycles are only allowed on the 360 route Biella/Oropa and on the 330 Biella/Graglia. This is subject to availability of space and a ticket must be purchased for each bicycle.


Q: Do accompanied children have to pay a fare?

A: Each adult may travel with a child free of charge, if that child is less than a metre in height and with the condition that the child does not occupy a seat. Any other children travelling with the adult must pay for a standard ticket.
